Training Student Leaders

 

Doug Kegarise, Director of Student Ministries at the Grace Brethren Church of Lititz, Pa., has developed the LEaD Program. LEaD stands for Learn, Equip and Do.

The program goals are to

• Learn to live: through a Bible reading program, Scripture memorization, discussion times and journaling assignments, students will learn about important character traits that are essential to the Christian journey.
• Equip to serve: through monthly discussion and teaching times students will be equipped to minister to other believers and to share their faith outside the church.
• Do God’s work: through monthly application projects, students will practice skills they have acquired, evaluate their productivity and develop a heart for using them in their everyday lives.
